My name is Klara Ahlers and I played an instrumental role in the creation and development of LAVERÉ cosmetics. Natural cosmetics have been my work and inspiration for years. It all started in 1988 when I opened the first specialist shop in Germany for natural cosmetics. In 1990 I was appointed as a Marketing Consultant by laverana, producer of certified natural cosmetics - the same company I work for today as a director, alongside its founder Thomas Haase.

From the moment I started working in natural cosmetics, customers have wanted the names of all the ingredients, plus totally natural skincare and plenty of options for caring for their skin. And these aspects have always been high on the priority list, together with the environmental aspect of packaging. Of course their wishes have been fulfilled. Not least by our official certification in 2001 - as a provider of genuine, carefully monitored, totally natural cosmetics.
