Altogether 7 products in the Repair line have been developed, suited to the main requirements of the mature skin, offering repairing skin care.
Skin aged 35+ (depending on the skin type) shows upcoming dry crinkles, elasticity is decreasing. Partial dry skin, upcoming distinctive wrinkles or even age spots can be detected.
The main active component of the LAVERÉ Repair System is organic Ceramide-3 which strengthens the skin's own protective functions. The complexion appears more vital.
Besides enhancing and building up the skin, the Repair system is focused on soothing and strengthening the skin. Therefore all 7 products contain Magnesium Gluconate, Chicory Root Extract, Algae, Maltose, Saccharomyces Lysate and Aspalathus Linearis Extract, as well as extracts from Bamboo, Liquorice Root and Camellia Oleifera & Sinensis Leaf. In addition, always depending on their specialisation, the products contain further ingredients such as Olive Fruit Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Soybean Seed Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Shea Butter, Rhus Verniciflua Peel Wax, Squalane, Evening Primrose Oil, Lecithin and Rosa Moschata Oil.
Why did we decide on Ceramide-3 being the main active component for LAVERÉ REPAIR?
The skin is subjected to biochemical and structural changes. Depending on its age the consequences of this process can be seen and sensed in the form of wrinkling, increased skin roughness and decreasing elasticity. The epidermal cell regeneration slows down, dermal collagen degenerates, the amount of Hyaluronic Acid in the skin decreases.
During the ageing process the skin looses the ability to produce Elastin and Collagen.
