The main active component of the LAVERÉ Hydro System is the biotechnological obtained Hyaluronic Acid, which causes a tender and fresh appearance of the skin and smoothens the skin noticeably. The 9 formulas all contain the active ingredients Saccharide Isomerate, Glucose Glutamate, Water Lily extracts and a fruit acid complex from organic fruits such as Apricot, Pomegranate and Mango.
Apart from these basic ingredients, depending on the product's specialisation, there are additional vegetable ingredients such as Rosa Moschate, Jojoba Oil, Aloe Vera Gel, Evening Primrose Oil, Vitamins E and C, Liquorice Root Extract, Sweet Almond Oil, Shea Butter, Olive Fruit Oil, Avocado Oil and Soybean Seed Oil.

Why did we decide on Hyaluronic Acid being the main active component for LAVERÉ HYDRO?
The skin is subjected to biochemical and structural changes. Depending on its age the consequences of this process can be seen and sensed in the form of wrinkling, increased skin roughness and decreasing elasticity. The epidermal cell regeneration slows down, dermal collagen degenerates, the amount of Hyaluronic Acid in the skin decreases. Since one molecule of the Hyaluronic Acid can absorb up to 3000 times compared to its actual weight it is no surprise that Hyaluronic Acid is especially used for products with anti-ageing effect and is an important ingredient in many natural cosmetics formulas.
The moisturizing components by the way are a combination of extracts from apricot, pomegranate and mango, produced by LAVERÉ itself, their smooth fruit acids refining the appearance of the skin.
